    Samsung watches are available by name Samsung Galaxy Watch while Apple’s watches are available by name Apple I Watch or Apple Watch. Both companies’ watches differ in function, technology, and specifications.

    Apple launched its first smartwatch on 9th September 2014 while Samsung launched its first smartwatch on September 25th, 2013 with Tizen (Android 4.3) as operating system and dual-core 1600 MHz ARM CPU.     Same as the previous series of the Apple Watch, Series four is square with round edges available in 40mm and 44mm with LTPO OLED Retina display. The screen or bezel is not touch-sensitive but provides hepatic feedback with the digital crown.

    Apple Watch Series 4, equipped with NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, and Wi-Fi connectivity also allows cellular connectivity in the select model of the apple series four watches.

    The sensors of the Apple watch series 4 are the same as that of the Samsung galaxy watch active 2. However, the only difference is the onboard ECG sensor of the Apple Watch is fully functional and approved by FDA.

    Both versions of the apple watch series 4 are available with 768MB of RAM with 16GB storage.

    Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2

    The Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 is powered by 247mAH and 340mAH battery which lasts a full day. Users have commented unofficially, in spite of all tasks performed through the watch, the battery still lasts for a day.

    The price of Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 is slightly less than the Apple watch series four. The 40mm Active 2 starts with $280 and the 44mm Active 2 starts at $300.

    Apple Watch Series 4

    The battery life of the Apple watch series 4 is not officially stated. However, according to the reviews of the user, the battery life was less than 18 hours.

    Apple watch series 4 starts at $399 for 40mm, and the 44mm starts at $429.

    With all these specs, battery life and other functions, which are almost the same for both the smartwatches. The Samsung galaxy watches active 2 are available at less price than the Apple Watch. Both edge to edge in functions as Samsung galaxy watch active 2 limited with the ECG sensor. Whereas, Apple watches limits battery life and price. Hence, it depends upon the user which one to choose.
